Working/ Operating Principle of Open Type Sand Mill
The material to be processed is pumped from the lowest of the mill into the milling chamber which is full of grinding media of 3 mm dia. the media is agitated through a shaft equipped with some of the impeller discs alongside its duration. As the material moves upwards it’s far subjected to excessive hydraulic & shearing forces between the grinding media which ends up in quality grinding of the material. This material then passes through the display which separates the media from the procedure material. Open Type Sand Mill is provided with a jacket arrangement for cooling the material in the grinding chamber.
Grinding process of the Open Type Sand Mill ensures a uniform mixture of several components. Sand mills designed for water based emulsions are exported by us. In this equipment, slurry is passed through the Sand Mill and the emulsion is then added as well as mixed in a slow speed stirrer. Impeller and pump with speed aviator are provided with these mills.
